You wake up in a basement with no way out and sixty seconds before everything resets.

The doors you opened stay open. The key you dropped stays where it fell.
And every minute you lived comes back as a shadow: a black copy of you walking your exact steps, again and again.

You need them. A shadow can stand on a plate while you go through the gate it opens.
But never meet their eyes. If one of your shadows looks at you while you look at it, your mind breaks and the loop ends.

In the last seconds of every loop, something comes out of the dark.
It goes for whoever is closest. You... or one of them.

The loop

• 60-second loops in one persistent basement
• Your last three loops replay as shadows
• Use your past selves to solve puzzles: plates, a power door, a code hidden on the walls, a dark maze

Jam limitation: #3 FAUST

"Sacrifice something to gain something else."
When the Entity reaches one of your shadows instead of you, it tears its head off. The flash of that death freezes every other shadow for six seconds.
You give it a piece of yourself... and you buy a few seconds to do what you could not do before.

Controls

• WASD / arrows move, Shift run, Mouse look
• E use / pick up / read, G drop the key
• 0-9, Enter, Backspace keypad
• Hold R restart (also skips the tutorial)
• F11 fullscreen, Esc free the mouse

A short tutorial teaches the loop. English and Arabic (Modern Standard).

تصحو في قبو مظلم بلا مخرج، ومعك ستون ثانية قبل أن يعود كل شيء. الأبواب التي فتحتها تبقى مفتوحة، والمفتاح الذي أسقطته يبقى مكانه. وكل دقيقة عشتها تعود ظلًّا أسود يمشي خطواتك نفسها. تحتاج ظلالك لتحلّ الألغاز… لكن إياك أن تلتقي عيناك بعينيه. وفي آخر ثواني كل دورة، يخرج شيء من الظلام ويتجه إلى الأقرب: أنت… أو أحدهم.
